A Working Bucket List
With graduation fast approaching I feel myself literally coming down with a case of "graduation goggles." I've realized that I haven't sat down a written a bucket list. And so it begins:
1. See the Spiral Jetty
Yes, that's all for now. Mostly because there are several things I should be doing instead of blogging. But I will be back- hopefully with more ideas. (And for any of you out there that still check this sad, neglected blog, I am taking suggestions so let me know if you have any ideas). Ciao.

V-day
Happy Valentine's Day my friends!
As usual, I am spending this Valentine's Day in a place unlike any other- Provo, UT. It is a place full of wonderful people and a really odd culture. I know it can be frustrating and strange if you, like me, are single. But to help distract from the strange culture and to refocus on the awesomeness of living here I've compiled a list of awesome things to do at the Museum of Art. I know it's been a while since I've posted thus you might not know that I am interning there...so surprise :) Anyway, back to the list of fun things to do at the MOA.
1. Come see the fantastic exhibit featuring Andy Warhol and Takashi Muramaki that ends February 18th. Seriously, it is amazing. And you will appreciate Warhol's series of Marilyn Monroes a lot more when you have the chance to see them lined up next to each other.
2. Need something to do today? Jeff Lambson, Mikell Stringham, and Jonathan Freedman are lecturing from 5-6 pm on collecting contemporary art. The MOA offers some of the most fun and engaging contemporary art exhibits you will ever see. If you didn't think you could ever understand contemporary art, come discover how exciting and meaningful it really is. You can even walk away and have an educated conversation with your friend or significant other on contemporary art.
3. While you are at it, browse through the upstairs collection of We Could Be Heroes. In a day where Batman, Ironman, Spiderman, Superman, and the whole Avenger's team occupy our movie time when we're not watching zombies and humans battle for survival, it will be and easy and fun way to connect to this exhibit on heroes. Reflect on what it means to be a hero or a monster and look at these icons in new ways.
4. Eat at the MOA cafe. It may not be as cheap as J-Dawgs, but I for one much prefer its high-quality food, variety, and location. Really though, eat there. It is delicious.
Being at college is such a unique time. There are so many things to do, and these are just 4 of many options from the MOA alone. There is no excuse- go out and do something fun today :)

A Favorite Scripture of Mine
2nd Nephi 22
1 aAnd in that day thou shalt say: O Lord, I will praise thee; though thou wast angry with me thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedest me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will atrust, and not be afraid; for the Lord bJehovah is my cstrength and my dsong; he also has become my salvation.
4 And in that day shall ye say: aPraise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
6 aCry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

dancing in Italy
Went to a YSA dance here in Rome last night and it was awesome. None of us in the group of 19 American girls were legit dancers so we all just went crazy having fun. We out crazied the Italians even :)
And of course, Brittany and I avoided the slow dances at all cost.
The highlight of my night definitely came when Janelle, who is Mexican, told me I had excellent hip movement. Say what??? That's right, my hips don't lie ;)
And what better way to end then with the Colosseum.

doppelganger?
This guy said I look a lot like Carly Rae Jepsen.
Agreed? Or no?
All I know is that I have more doppelgangers than any other person I have ever met.
I wouldn't mind ending up with a guy who looked like that...just sayin.
